Bio:
Born in New Jersey
Futurian
Wrote criticism under the pseudonym William Atheling Jr.
Married to Virginia Kidd from 1947 to 1963, then from 1964 until
his death to Judith Ann Lawrence.
Moved to England in 1969. Died on the 30th of July of 1975 and is buried in Oxford.
In 1976 the Australian National Science Fiction Convention established the William Atheling, Jr. Award for criticism.
Awards: Hugo (1959, novel).
