Stephen Edwin King
(b.1947)
Bio:
Born in Maine. Used the pseudonym Richard Bachman. Many of his books
and short fiction have been adapted for . Married to novelist Tabitha King with whom he
has two sons and a daughter. His sons, Owen King and Joe Hill
are both published authors.
His Dark Tower series will be adapted into a 31-issue series by Marvel
Comics.
Awards: National Book Foundation's Medal
for Distinguished Contribution to
American Letters (2003), O. Henry Award (2003)
