C.S. Lewis

Clive Staples Lewis

(b.1898-d.1963)

Bio:

Born in Belfast, lived in England for most of his adult life. Converted to Christianity and is known for his christian apologetics. His religious views also influenced his fiction. His romance with an american fan Joy Davidman was the basis the tv movie Shadowlands, later remade for the big screen under the same title.

There is controversy regarding the authenticity of some of his posthumously published works, including the fourth of the Perelandra series, The Dark Tower.
