Bio:
Born in Montana of Finnish descent.
Friend and collaborator of Hannes Bok, Petaja founded the
Bokanalia foundation after Bok's death. He was the first Author Emeritus
if the SFWA and involved with first fandom in Los Angeles.
Several of his novels were published as half of Ace Doubles in the
60's.
His best known work is his series of SF novels that are based on
the Finnish epic poem Kalevala.
