Robert Shaw

(b.1931-d.1996)

Bio:

    Born and raised in Belfast. Worked as a structural engineer, aircraft design and journalist and eventually a full-time author. His story "Light of Other Days" introduced the concept of "slow glass" Lifelong fan.

Awards: Hugo (1979 fan writer, 1980 fan writer)
