Bio:

Born in Chicago, Illinois. Attended the Art Institute of Chicago and the University of Illinois School of Fine Art. Incredibly prolific he pretty much single-handedly changed the approach to SF cover art, mostly through his work at Ballantine where he worked on covers for some now classic titles such as Arthur C. Clarke's Childhood's End . He died while visiting his daughter in Madrid, Spain.
