Hugo award winner 1953. wrote radio scripts, comics.
Editor of Holiday Magazine. Was initially chosen to write the
screenplay for Superman but was later rejected as not well known enough.
Worked on Genius Jones,
Green Lantern (wrote the original Green Lantern
Oath) and created such supervillains as Solomon Grundy, Vandal Savage.
