Bio:

Born in Owensboro, Kentucky. Owned and operated a left-wing mail-order book service, Jacobin Books, from 1985 to 1990 with his wife Judy Jensen. Writes novelizations, comic adaptations, young adult novels, non-fiction, etc. Currenty completing Saint Leibowitz and the Wild Horse Woman, the long-awaited posthumous sequel to A Canticle for Leibowitz, for the estate of Walter M. Miller, Jr.

Eastern New Mexico University is pleased to announce that science fiction authors Nancy Kress and Terry Bisson will join Dr. Jack Williamson for the 1998 Williamson Lectureship on February 25. This year's theme, "Designer Genes and Brave New Worlds," will showcase science fiction's treatment of biotechnology and cultural evolution. Reservations are required for the noon luncheon and may be made by calling (505) 562-2677 or (505) 562-2636 or by email at bundyg@golden.enmu.edu.
The 7 p.m. panel discussion is free.
