First apeared in print under the name Elton V. Andrews in Amazing (1932). Literary agent. Editor of Galaxy (mid 60's), If, and Worlds of Tomorrow. Grand Master Nebula. A founding member of the Futurians. Was married to Judith Merril, a fellow Futurian. Is now married to Carol Stanton. Awarded the "Invisible little Man" trophy at the 1964 WorldCon..
