Singapore's Court of Appeal has ruled that orak sex is a criminal offense unless it takes place as part of foreplay. According to the court, it is an "unnatural act" and that "only the coitus of the male and female sexual" organs was natural intercourse. The case involved a 47-year-old man who was charged with duping a 19-year-old woman to performing oral sex on him. The man had told the girl that she had been infected by a poison introduced when a man had gone down on her. The only way to rid the poison from her body, the man told her, was to go down on him!

REp. Tom Coburn (OK) criticized the showing of Schindler's List on prime-time TV claiming that it brought TV "to an all time low, with full frontal nudity, violence, and profanity being shown in our home."
